Definition Paragraph
Write a definition blog in a paragraph. The topic sentence must include the topic, category/group, and characteristics. Be sure to support your topic sentence with supporting details of facts, examples, statistics, and/or stories. The supporting sentences may give additional facts telling who, what, where, when, how, or why. The concluding sentence may state why the topic is important, interesting, or unique.

The Himono Onna is a word which was used in TV drama in Japan. It has been popular and famous since the TV drama started. That mean is similar to 'Couch Potato', but it is used for female. During working, they work well and are relied from coworker and boss, but if they become alone in their home like after working or on weekends, they will be people who do not go out, just lie around at home, and drink alcohol and tips. Recently, those kind of female are increasing in Japan. They think that we do not have to get marry or we do not want to do anything except job. That time, when the TV drama started, we used for female worker, but nowadays, we use not only workers but also students. People around me include me are also Himono Onna. We are thinking about our life style. That's mean we have to change by ourselves. For us, it is more difficult than to get 'A in final exam.

ReplyDelete“Machismo” is one Spanish word which describes the men who believe that the girls need to do all the Household chores. It means activities like dishwashing, making the bed, cooking, organizing everything, and this kind of work. A “machista” man is who don’t permit that his wife work, or do something different than stay in the house or with the children. For instance, the “machista” society is which the woman’s can’t vote for president. Other example is that in the societies when the woman’s get married they need to use the last name form her husband are also “machista” society. In many cultures the figure that represents “machismo” starts to disappear because it represents a discrimination mind. To me, the “machismo” needs to disappear because men and woman is people who have the same rights, and who can do the same things.
A geek is a person who is a talent and has a bright brain. Usually, he/she doesn’t like stay with normal people, for he/she has different way to thinking. Talking, playing, and working with general people make them feel boring, so them often stay alone. Geeks are good at logical thinking, math, memory, analyzing. For example, they are able to count a complex math problem without a calculator in a short time. They can easily remember almost 90 percent of information they need, so they even don’t have to take a notes during the class. All in all, they have specious gift from the god, but they also have to deal with their emotion problems.

ReplyDeleteThe blog is journal which people write a daily life online. First of all, they likely write weather. Instance, if the day is storm, they might write that today is very bad weather therefore, I wanted to go shipping I couldn’t it. It was boring today because I couldn’t anywhere:’). Second, they will write about the most event or happening the whole day. For example, if they went to the party, they might write that my friend held the party which was Halloween party. Most people dressed in costume. I was pleased with costume was the guy who dressed up as superman. His costume was of a high quality:). Finally, will write about you will do next day. If they have a plane next day, they will write that how interesting they are
looking forward to doing it. In conclusion, the blog is that they will write about the day’s weather, most event or happening, and about next day online.

A Boy Who Is A Geek
Leo is a high school student. He is a cute boy, but he doesn’t like study hard. Because he thinks study is too hard that he can’t do it. So he is addicted to computer. He also is a geek. Maybe it can help shake off the pressure and tension from the study and work. His parents and teachers are worry about him. And always tell him to stop play computers. But he still does it. He is crazy about computers. Nobody can help him.

ReplyDeleteA tightwad is a person who cares only about himself/herself and not generous. For Example if he/she hanging out with their friends and they have plenty of food with them, they just eat it by themselves without any sharing with their friends; they don’t even offer the food for their friends. Usually Tightwads don’t like to pay. For instance if there is a potluck dinner in their school or work, they don’t share on it because they don’t want to pay. Usually they keep everything they buy even the useless stuff because they pay for it. All in all, I hope that Tightwads will vanish in the future because they are losing friends and making the world so bad.
DeleteA couch potato is a person who sits on the couch and watches television. I really like to sit on the couch and watch television specially if I like the film or the program. In my home I always do that, I sit and watch television in my free time and when I get bored. People sit on couch and watch television, because they want to spend their free time, some of them are lazy, they have nothing to do, and maybe they don’t realize the time. Some people like to sit and relax on the couch while they watching television.
